Trevor Lubbe Memorial Lecture 2024: Susan Donner

With Dr. Susan L. Donner, (M.D.) is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Los Angeles, California. She is a Training and Child, Adolescent and Adult Supervising Analyst, Director of Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Training, and Director of the NCP Child and Adolescent Clinic at the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA where she directs the Area of Distinction on Psychoanalytic Perspectives. Dr. Donner has been named a Distinguished Fellow of both the American Psychiatric Association and AACAP. She has a private practice in Woodland Hills, California where she uses an integrated model for interventions, including individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, family and parent work, and medication management. Dr. Donner has written a number of chapters and articles in the psychiatric and psychoanalytic literature and has presented at national and international conferences.
