I am a Counselling Psychologist working in private practice in Modderfontein, Johannesburg. I studied at Wits and trained at Ububele Psychotherapy & Educational Trust. I use a psychodynamic approach when working with children and adults. By establishing a shared awareness of my clients’ challenges in a compassionate and holding environment, I aim to help them develop a deep sense of self-understanding. This is done by working to bring unconscious thoughts, feelings, and internal conflicts to the surface, allowing my clients a greater understanding of their emotions and to make meaning of their lived experiences. Through this greater self-awareness, distress or other symptoms can be reduced, and interpersonal relationships can be improved.
