Under 5's Supervision Group

THE UNDER-FIVE GROUP IS AIMED AT CLINICIANS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

It will offer an opportunity to deepen and consolidate one's theoretical understanding, as well enhance clinical skills. Meetings are held every 2nd Friday of the month, from 8:00-9:30, and will include both theoretical papers as well as clinical material. Raine Cohen will facilitate the group. Dr Louise Allnut will offer supervision and theoretical input. Dr Allnutt was a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist at University College Hospital in London and Trust lead for psychotherapy at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has worked as a psychotherapist in physical health and specialist mental health settings. Her clinical work has focused on several specialist areas including disability, autism and complex and relational trauma and its impact on the body and the developing mind. She has been a visiting lecturer in psychoanalytic theory and clinical supervision on the Tavistock and UCL doctoral training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and currently co-convenes the 'Trust-wide Trauma Forum' at the Tavistock Centre.
